I always think birthday celebration is a no-brainer,may be it is a cynical thought, but I do feel uncomfortable ,and cant really understand what difference does it make on which date i was born(assuming one does not search for the astrological article on Sunday news paper).
I had an interview in IIT Bombay for my ph.d admission,I woke up at seven very early specially considering my consistency in that aspect.I got ready and went for the interview .we never knew the time schedule so went there pretty early ,interview started at 10 . I was informed or you may say understood that my time would probably come after 3 in the afternoon, being really tensed I almost ate nothing in the hostel during lunch.well at 4 in the afternoon I understood it would be touch and go weather they will take my interview that day or not..but i had to wait,so waited until 8 in the evening just to know it would be the next day when I have to face my executioners.
Ran back to the hostel where I was staying , went to the dining hall and being told that I would not get my dinner because the buying time is over...
Came back to my room,searched my bag and found two packet biscuits completed my dinner..FOR YOUR INFORMATION BIRTHDAY DINNER....
what an interesting menu...the only birthday I remember, I still remember with fun,it always brings smile in my face....
